This is a meaningful place for travelers to take photos marking the beginning of their adventure across the Ha Giang Loop. Continue the scenic drive through impressive mountain passes, deep valleys, and peaceful ethnic villages. Along the way, enjoy several photo stops to admire breathtaking views of terraced fields, winding roads, and limestone peaks rising against the blue sky. Around noon, you will arrive in Yen Minh, a charming little town surrounded by lush pine forests and karst mountains. Have lunch at a local restaurant and take a short rest before continuing your journey. In the afternoon, continue driving toward Du Gia, a remote yet beautiful village nestled in the heart of the mountains. Upon arrival, check in at your accommodation and relax. You can take a gentle walk around the village, meet friendly local people, and explore the peaceful scenery that defines this authentic northern highland area. Overnight in Du Gia. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch

The first highlight of the day is a visit to the Nho Que River, one of the most iconic natural wonders in northern Vietnam. You will take a short transfer to the shared boat dock, where a local boat ride awaits. As you glide along the emerald-green waters of the river, surrounded by towering limestone cliffs, you can admire the breathtaking scenery of the Tu San Canyon – the deepest canyon in Southeast Asia. This tranquil yet majestic river cruise is one of the most memorable experiences of the Ha Giang journey. Continue the adventure along the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, known as one of the “Four Great Mountain Passes” of Vietnam. The road winds along steep cliffs overlooking the Nho Que River far below, offering spectacular photo opportunities and unforgettable panoramic views. Around noon, have lunch at a local restaurant in the Dong Van area before visiting the H’mong King’s Palace (Dinh Ho Vuong), an impressive architectural and historical landmark. Built in the early 20th century, this stone mansion once belonged to the royal family of the H’mong people. The palace features a fascinating blend of Chinese and French styles and offers insight into the history and culture of the H’mong ethnic group.
