Itinerary

In the morning, the driver and English-speaking guide will pick you up at your hotel in Ha Noi and transfer to Sapa by expressway (approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes drive). Upon arrival in Sapa, you will have lunch at a local restaurant and take some time to relax. In the afternoon, begin your visit to Cat Cat Village, home of the Black Hmong ethnic group. Stroll through the scenic valley, admire traditional wooden houses, and learn about the unique customs, weaving crafts, and daily life of the local people. You will also have a chance to see the Cat Cat waterfall, a picturesque spot surrounded by terraced fields and lush greenery. Return to Sapa Town, check in at your hotel, and enjoy free time to explore the town at your own pace. Overnight in Sapa. Meal: Lunch

After breakfast at your hotel, meet your guide and start your journey to discover the natural beauty and rich culture of Sapa. First, take a short drive to visit the Silver Waterfall (Thac Bac), located about 12 km from Sapa town. Here, you can enjoy the refreshing mountain air, admire the stunning scenery, and capture great photos of one of the highest and most beautiful waterfalls in the area. Continue by car to Lao Chai Village, home to the Black H’mong ethnic minority. From here, begin your trekking adventure through the picturesque Muong Hoa Valley, surrounded by breathtaking terraced rice fields and misty mountains. Along the way, your guide will share insights into the local traditions, lifestyle, and handicrafts of the H’mong people. Next, trek onward to Ta Van Village, inhabited by the Giay ethnic group. Experience the warmth and hospitality of the villagers, visit traditional wooden stilt houses, and enjoy the peaceful countryside atmosphere. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in the village, offering a chance to taste authentic local dishes. After breakfast at your hotel, meet your guide and transfer to the Fansipan Cable Car Station. Enjoy a breathtaking cable car ride to the top of Fansipan Peak, known as the “Roof of Indochina,” standing 3,143 meters above sea level. During the ride, you’ll be surrounded by panoramic views of majestic mountains, clouds, and endless rice terraces. Upon arrival at the upper station, take a short walk or optional funicular ride to reach the Fansipan Summit, where you can admire the impressive Great Buddha Statue, Bich Van Zen Monastery, and the beautiful pagoda complex nestled among the clouds. Take time to capture unforgettable photos at the Fansipan Peak landmark, marking the highest point in Vietnam. After your visit, return to Sapa town for lunch at a local restaurant. Along the way, you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of towering mountains, lush forests, and the iconic terraced rice fields, especially stunning during the water-pouring season when the fields shimmer like mirrors under the sky. You will also stop to visit Thon Tha Village, a peaceful ethnic minority village where you can explore local life, traditional houses, and the serene surroundings of Ha Giang’s highlands. By late afternoon, you will arrive in Ha Giang, check in at your hotel, and enjoy the evening at leisure. Overnight in Ha Giang. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast, you will enjoy some free time before being transferred to Yen Minh, a tranquil mountain town approximately 2.5 hours away. Along the way, you will make a short stop at the Ha Giang KM0 milestone, the symbolic starting point of the legendary Ha Giang Loop — a perfect spot for photos and to officially mark the beginning of your northern adventure. The journey continues toward Quan Ba, passing through the Quan Ba Sum Pass. Next you will visit & trekking around villages in Nam Dam village which is community-based cultural village in Quản Bạ ​​District, Hà Giang Province is a fairly untouched spot and has only been developed for tourism in the last few years to take advantage of its beautiful natural landscape and the traditional cultural features of the ethnic Dao people. After breakfast at your homestay in Quan Ba, your journey begins with a scenic drive to Heaven Gate (Cổng Trời Quản Bạ) – one of the most iconic viewpoints in Ha Giang. From the top, enjoy a breathtaking panorama of the valley below, with misty mountain ranges and winding roads that mark the start of the Dong Van Karst Plateau. This is the perfect spot to capture the majestic natural beauty of northern Vietnam. Continue your exploration with a short stop at the Twin Mountain (Fairy Bosom Hills) – two perfectly symmetrical hills surrounded by lush fields and traditional H’mong houses. Your guide will share local legends and stories behind these unique limestone formations that have become the symbol of Quan Ba. Next, visit Lung Tam Village, home to the H’mong ethnic group, famous for their traditional hemp weaving craft. After breakfast at your homestay in Du Gia, the journey continues through some of the most scenic landscapes of Ha Giang province. On the way, make a stop at the Old French Military Site, a historic area that once served as a strategic outpost during the colonial period. Here, you can still see remnants of old structures surrounded by mountains and valleys, offering a glimpse into the region’s wartime past. Continue to the Viewpoint of the M-Shaped Curve, one of the most iconic photo stops on the Ha Giang Loop. From this spot, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of winding mountain roads and lush green hills stretching into the distance. Next, head to Nho Que River for an unforgettable shared boat trip. This route offers one of the most spectacular panoramic sights in northern Vietnam — a perfect stop for photos and to appreciate the grandeur of nature. Continue the drive to the Na Tenh Pass, another beautiful mountain pass offering impressive views of rugged cliffs, terraced fields, and peaceful ethnic villages nestled along the hillsides. After breakfast, you will be transferred to visit & trekking in Mountain Eye of God (Núi Thủng), a unique geological formation famous for its natural hole that frames the sky like a giant eye. Next is Ban Gioc Waterfall which is one of the most stunning natural wonders in Vietnam, located on the border between Vietnam and China. The waterfall is especially majestic during the rainy season, when the flow is at its fullest and the landscape glows with vibrant beauty. After breakfast at your hotel, check out and depart from Cao Bang for the return journey to Ha Noi. The drive will take you through winding mountain roads, peaceful valleys, and charming ethnic villages — offering one last glimpse of northern Vietnam’s magnificent landscapes. Continue the drive back to Ha Noi, arriving in the late afternoon. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in the city center and end of the tour. Meal: Breakfast
