Itinerary

Enjoy your free time until the shared sleeper bus picks you up at your hotel in the Old Quarter for the journey to Ha Giang. The bus is scheduled to depart around 11:00 AM and will arrive in Ha Giang at approximately 6:00 PM. Overnight in Ha Giang. Overnight in Ha Giang Meal: None

10:00 am: Begin your adventure with a short briefing about the Ha Giang Loop at Jasmine Hostel, where your guide will share essential information and safety tips before the journey. Embark on a scenic drive to Quan Ba, known for its breathtaking mountain landscapes and cool climate. Along the way, admire the beauty of the Bac Sum Pass, with its winding roads offering panoramic views of lush valleys and terraced hills. Stop at the Heaven Gate (Quan Ba Heaven Gate), the first gateway to the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, where you can enjoy a wide view of the spectacular Tam Son Valley below. Continue to visit Lung Khuy Cave, one of the most stunning natural caves in Ha Giang, featuring impressive stalactites and stalagmites formed over thousands of years. Enjoy lunch in Tam Son Town, a peaceful stop surrounded by limestone peaks and charming rural scenery. Afterward, visit Fairy Mountain (Twin Mountains), a symbol of Quan Ba and a fascinating natural formation surrounded by local legends. 18:30: Arrive in Yen Minh, check into your homestay, and relax after a full day of exploration. In the evening, enjoy a warm dinner prepared by your host and take part in fun local activities such as traditional music, card games, and a taste of “Happy Water” (local corn wine). Overnight in Yen Minh. Meal: Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast, check out of your homestay and continue your journey through the spectacular Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, recognized by UNESCO for its unique limestone formations and rich cultural heritage. Your first stop is the Tham Ma Pass viewpoint, where the winding mountain road creates a breathtaking scene — one of the most photographed spots in Ha Giang. Continue to the Lung Cu Flag Tower, standing proudly on Dragon Mountain near the Chinese border. From the top, enjoy a panoramic view of Vietnam’s northernmost point, surrounded by vast valleys and terraced fields. Next, visit the Vuong’s Royal Palace (H’mong King’s Palace) in Sa Phin Valley. Built in the early 20th century, this historical mansion belonged to the most powerful H’mong family in the region. The palace’s unique blend of Chinese and French architecture reflects both wealth and cultural significance. Then, take a short trek to the Ma Pi Leng Skywalk, where you can walk along a cliffside path offering unforgettable views of the Nho Que River winding below. Continue traveling through the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the most beautiful and dramatic mountain roads in Vietnam, known as the “Happiness Road.” The pass overlooks the Ma Pi Leng Canyon, the deepest canyon in the country, creating a truly spectacular landscape. Arrive in Pa Vi Village, a charming H’mong community surrounded by limestone mountains. Take a walk through the village, admire the beautiful local houses, and immerse yourself in the warm hospitality of the people. In the evening, enjoy a cozy dinner and join the Sunset Party with local music, games, and “Happy Water.” Overnight in Pa Vi / Meo Vac. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Start your morning with a refreshing shared boat tour on the Nho Que River, where emerald waters flow peacefully between steep limestone cliffs. Cruising through the majestic Tu San Canyon, you’ll witness one of Vietnam’s most breathtaking natural wonders — an unforgettable highlight of the Ha Giang Loop. Continue your scenic journey, passing the beautiful M Pass, with winding mountain roads and stunning landscapes at every turn. Stop in Mau Due for a relaxing lunch at a local restaurant, where you can enjoy regional specialties and take in the peaceful countryside atmosphere. After lunch, continue your drive back toward Ha Giang City, arriving at Jasmine Hostel 2 between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm. This marks the end of your memorable adventure through the captivating highlands of Ha Giang. After that, enjoy your free time until 8:00 PM, when the shared sleeper bus will pick you up for the return journey to Ha Noi. You will arrive in Ha Noi at around 3:00 AM, and the bus will drop you off at 01 Cho Gao Street, Hoan Kiem, Ha Noi. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch
